Why travelers love it

“Optional all‑inclusive beachfront resort with spacious suites and family‑friendly amenities in Cabo San Lucas”

One of the few Cabo properties sitting directly on Médano Beach — the rare local stretch where you can actually swim — paired with roomy one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites that have kitchenettes and make multi-generational trips easier. Note that the all-inclusive plan is optional rather than baked in, so pricing and value depend heavily on which package you book.

Food & drink

Strong

Food punches above its price point, with a wide breakfast buffet, standout Italian at Bella California, and fresh seafood across the venues. Dinners divide opinion: some rave, others eat off-property.

Dining overview

Several on-site restaurants and bars cover Mexican, international, and seafood options, with a kid-friendly buffet and room service available. The all-inclusive meal plan is an add-on rather than standard, so guests should clarify what's included at booking.

Beach

Strong

The beachfront is a signature asset with dramatic Sea of Cortez views and, unusually for Cabo, water you can actually swim in. Access has been intermittently closed, which frustrates guests expecting daily beach time.

Editorial beach rating

Set on Médano Beach, the longest swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas, with calm protected water, views toward the Land's End arch, and a lively boardwalk of vendors and beach bars right outside the resort.

Pools

Standout

The recently remodeled pool complex is the beating heart of the resort, with a separate adults-only tier, a lively family pool, and standout servers like Nayeli, Nico, and Juan Carlos who know regulars by name. Service can thin out at peak.

Editorial pool rating

Multiple outdoor pools across the property including a heated pool, an adults-only pool, a poolside bar, and hot tubs, with terraced layouts looking toward the bay.

What’s included

Strong

For a one-bedroom all-inclusive suite around a thousand dollars for two nights, most guests feel they get more than they paid for. The catch: a steady drip of add-ons and upgrade games can erode the sticker-price value.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Good fit

Anniversary and couples travelers keep returning, drawn by ocean-view suites, a quiet adults-only upper pool, and sunset dinners at Bella California. It reads as a comfortable romantic getaway rather than a sultry couples-only escape.

Families

Good fit

Multigenerational groups thrive here thanks to spacious 2-bedroom suites, a dedicated family pool, and activities from pool volleyball to pickleball. Excursions booked through the resort's agency have misfired for families with young kids.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

Layout gives you a choice: lively main pool with games and shows, or the adults-only upper pool with fire pits for calm. Room location matters, ask away from the pool if you want silence.

Resort features a 31,000 sq ft Desert Spa, fitness center with hydrotherapy, multiple pools and jacuzzis, kids pool, tennis courts, banquet and wedding facilities, kids club, non‑motorized watersports, nightly entertainment, hospitality suite, on‑site deli, and bilingual staff.

What past guests say

“I feel like this resort is a scam, they charge extra for an ocean view which is about 350 dollars more per day.”

“Wonderful place we bought into 16 years ago or so. Today they won't let us put up umbrellas because of less wind than the past 5 days. No way can I enjoy today without the shade of an umbrella. Water is also calmer than when I swam in it under red flag and they still have it black flag. No one is telling me anytime except the manager has made the decision. Not ever sure if that guy is on-site. He might know more than I do on whats coming but this is our last full day. I will not come back.”

“My concern is safety and lack of genuine concern for guests. We had just stepped down to the beach to walk to a restaurant when a wave came up and knocked my wife and our friend’s flip-flops off. Both ladies went to retrieve their shoes. A big wave came up and took my wife under four times. As I attempted to help, I was pulled into the water. We were saved by beach vendors and a fisherman. My wife was definitely in trouble and we feared for her life.

We were both scraped up. I lost a...”
