Food & drink

Strong

Solid, if not spectacular, with a strong Seabreeze buffet and standout à la carte at Portofino and Sails & Tales. Reservations disappear fast and Nicole's upcharge divides opinion.

Dining overview

Multiple venues range from a main buffet (Seabreeze) to specialty and casual options including Italian, pizzeria, seafood grill, beach grill, coffee shop, pub and pool bar. One fine‑dining restaurant carries a surcharge (Nicole’s).

Beach

Standout

Two lovely private beaches, Lovers and Long Bay, with calm, clear water and virtually no sargassum. A genuine highlight of the stay.

Detailed beach reporting coming soon.

Pools

Strong

Three well-kept pools with plenty of loungers spread across the 30-acre property. Just don't expect a swim-up bar or lively pool scene.

Rooms & suites

186 rooms

All units are spacious suites or villas equipped with kitchenettes, sleeper sofas and private verandahs. Categories include Hillside, Waterview, Waterfront, Superior Waterfront, Two‑Bedroom Villas, some with plunge pools.

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Strong

For a quiet Antiguan adults-only with two private beaches, most guests feel the price is fair, especially booked through UK operators like Tropical Sky. Premium expectations meet dated rooms and daily government fees.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Ideal

An adults-only, laid-back romantic hideaway with two quiet beaches, sunrise sea views, and anniversary-friendly touches. Ideal for couples who want to unwind, not party.

Families

Not a fit

Now adults-only, so children are no longer permitted despite occasional legacy mentions of family stays. Look elsewhere if traveling with kids.

Peace & Quiet

Standout

One of Antigua's most reliably peaceful all-inclusives, set on the calm North Atlantic coast with a relaxed, low-key rhythm. Come here to decompress, not to party.

Resort features two white‑sand beaches with calm, reef‑sheltered water; four swimming pools; fitness center; non‑motorized water sports; tennis and pickleball courts; mini‑golf; nightly entertainment; spa; and nature trails adjacent to Devil’s Bridge National Park.

What past guests say

“Good food, restaurants not always open every day, very large grounds and because of the heat you rely on the golf carts for transport, most of the bars/restaurants are indoors so could do with more outdoor space to eat, it no longer has a tennis court, even though they are still advertising it 🤷‍♂️ nice beach and staff very friendly.”

“The best all inclusive we have experienced. Newly redecorated, spacious rooms, consistently good food, great staff! The two small beaches have enough shade, warm shallow water, and awesome bartenders. Beautiful landscaping, spread over 30 acres, so no quiet and private. Their own water system and veg gardens!”

Know before you book

Not for:families
  • Dinner reservations required and one restaurant not included in package
  • In‑room Wi‑Fi costs extra
  • Some say resort lacks unique local charm
  • A few unfriendly Beach Grill staff noted

What you should know

What to Know

The resort sprawls across 30 acres, so you'll rely on golf-cart shuttles, and restaurant reservations must be locked in two days out. Service quality is noticeably inconsistent, especially in slow season.

Dinner reservations required at Nicole’s and Portofino; in‑room Wi‑Fi incurs extra charge; no swim‑up bar; beachfront but spread‑out grounds—use golf‑cart shuttle stops.
