Food & drink

Strong

Buffet variety pleases picky eaters and the à la carte lineup, especially Ayami (Asian) and the Grill, earns real praise, though the Italian venue and the snack bar lunches drag the average down.

Beach

Strong

A long, walkable stretch of Nuevo Vallarta sand with warm water and good waves, though it is a public beach with steady vendor traffic and no on-site lifeguards.

Editorial beach rating

Gold‑sand beach with direct access, palapa‑shaded loungers and ocean views of Banderas Bay

Pools

Strong

Two large pools, one family and one adult infinity facing the ocean, are the property's strongest asset, undermined by lounger-hoarding at dawn and thin poolside service.

Editorial pool rating

Three outdoor heated pools including an infinity edge pool with ocean view, one adults‑only pool, plus a wading pool or splash area for kids; poolside snack bars available

What’s included

Mixed

At the right rate this is a solid mid-range beach week, but the Altitude Club upgrade is widely called a sham and enough guests feel the room and food quality no longer match the price to make value the property's weakest scoreline.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Stretch

An adults-only infinity pool facing the beach and quiet evenings make it workable for couples on a budget, but tired rooms and a kid-heavy vibe keep it out of romance-getaway territory.

Families

Stretch

Kids Kamp, pool activities with hosts like Anahí, and a safe beach make it a real family pick, but the recent conversion of the main pool to adults-only and thin teen programming have frustrated repeat family visitors.

Peace & Quiet

Strong

Evenings wind down early and the adults-only infinity pool is genuinely peaceful, so light sleepers and readers do well here, though daytime pool areas and the busy public beach bring predictable noise.

Spa, fitness centre, kids club, 24‑hour room service (for a charge), multiple bars including rooftop Sky Bar, private lounge for Club Altitude guests, free Wi‑Fi

“Very good”

“The reception service was terrible.
For that reason, I wouldn't return.
But I must mention the great service from Manuel at the pool (waiter), José, the restaurant manager on the morning shift, and Angel, the captain on the afternoon shift. Waiters Miguel and Irving provided us with the best service and made us forget the inconveniences, and thanks to them, our vacation was unforgettable. 🙏🏻 Thank you so much for that ♥️”
