All‑ages luxury resort integrated with nature and cultural immersion under an All‑Fun Inclusive™ model

Food & drink

Strong

Cuisine is a genuine highlight, with standout venues like Chi, Fuego, Xaak, and the Casa Sol rooftop delivering ceviches, quesadillas, and varied menus across dozens of restaurants. A minority report mediocre meals or rushed pacing, and one anniversary dinner at Xaak went badly wrong.

Dining overview

About 20 restaurants offering diverse Mexican and international cuisine by a Culinary Collective of celebrity chefs; buffet and a la carte options included.

Beach

Mixed

The beach and bay are pleasant additions rather than the main draw; the property's pools, rivers, and cenotes steal the spotlight.

Beach is small and rocky, not ideal for swimming or snorkeling. Resort compensates with rivers, inlets, sandy lagoon areas and numerous pools instead.

Pools

Standout

Pools are a genuine highlight: rooftop Casa Sol with a DJ, water-slide pools, and river-style channels wind through the property. Poolside service, especially from Anallely, is repeatedly singled out as the best part of the stay.

Editorial pool rating

Features numerous pools, including rooftop pools and swim-up suites, as well as natural rivers and inlets. The resort has at least one swim-up bar.

Rooms & suites

1,800 rooms

All‑View suites (1,800 total), including Junior, Swim‑Up, Master categories with features like butler service, private pool access, stone tubs, and rooftop lounges depending on category.

Room details here are AI-assisted, compiled from the resort's own website and public sources. Categories and names change often — confirm the exact room when you book.

What’s included

Mixed

When it works, All-Fun Inclusive (rooms, food, drinks, transport, and park entry) is genuinely rare and worth the sticker. When service breaks down, the same price tag feels like a scam, and post-expansion the ratio has slipped for repeat visitors.

Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.

Amenities & activities

Couples

Good fit

Adults-only Casa Fuego with butler service is a romantic anchor, popular for anniversaries and honeymoons. But the sheer scale of the resort and reports of children slipping into 'exclusive' zones dilute the intimate feel.

Families

Good fit

Multi-generational groups thrive here thanks to included park access, water slides, and multiple kid pools. Operational stumbles (missing cribs, broken slides during renovation, hot-tub hygiene) hit families hardest.

Peace & Quiet

Mixed

Hidden pathways, cenotes, and swim-through channels create pockets of calm, but post-expansion the property runs busy and the atmosphere leans lively rather than serene. Adults seeking a hushed retreat should look elsewhere.

Spa (Muluk Spa & Wellness), white‑sand beach areas, rivers, inlets, rooftop pools, waterslides (opening soon), fitness centers, tennis/paddle courts, kayak/paddle board, kids club, family club, event venues, shops, chapel.

What past guests say

“What a disappointment! It seems customer service is no longer a priority. The hotel has grown considerably, but they don't seem prepared to handle so many guests. I brought a group of 28 people, and the experience left much to be desired. A room with one bed for three people? Impossible when the reservation was made a year in advance, and they tell you it depends on availability. An event was happening outside the room with loud music, making it impossible to rest. You call reception, and no...”

“Asides from the resort being beautiful the experience here was not great. Everyone you spoke to the front desk it was a 5 min pitch of some upsell. Check in and check out was painful. We go to a lot of resorts in Mexico and I really wanted to love this but this was probably the worst one we’ve been too. The service is terrible, they constantly make you feel like you should spend more, they lie just to sign you up for their dumb “talk” to sign up for the timeshare. If you’re looking for a...”

“Room had cockroaches, upselling every time you speak to the front desk, it was a nice looking resort and the food is decent but compared to secrets Moche and even TRS, it’s very mid. I will not be back.”

“It's mostly been very good. Very few things have caused us any problems. But nothing that can't be fixed with a call to the concierge. We really liked being here. We enjoyed it a lot.”

  • Not a headline sandy beach
  • Sargassum risk typical of Riviera Maya
  • Room service unreliable, items often unavailable
  • Sunday brunch communication issues

What you should know

What to Know

This is a sprawling, park-integrated resort with real operational quirks: plan restaurants in advance, expect a long check-in, and refuse the timeshare breakfast unless you want to lose half a day. Book a suite with a butler if the budget allows, since the butler tier is where the promised experience actually lands.

Resort is very large with uneven terrain; plan for long walks, wear appropriate footwear; beach access may require caution; concierge can assist park shuttles and excursions.
