Why travelers love it
“Mid-size family all-inclusive on Cozumel's reef-fringed southwest coast”
The signature draw here is the house reef — you can wade in from the beach and see fish from your lounger, which puts world-class snorkeling at your doorstep. It's a smaller resort than the Cancún/Riviera giants, so chair-saving and crowds aren't really an issue, and guests consistently praise the staff and food. The tradeoff: the beach itself is more rock and reef than soft sand, and rooms feel a bit dated even if well-kept.
Food & drink
MixedThree à la carte venues (Asian, Italian, Mexican/Ceviche) plus a breakfast buffet cover the basics, with the Asian and seafood standouts winning most praise. Consistency is the weak spot: renovation closures and off-nights have left some guests hungry.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Asian restaurant a repeat favorite
- Fresh ceviche and fish tacos with a view
- Vicky's made-to-order breakfast quesadillas
- Premium-brand liquor at the bars
Heads up
- Restaurant closures during renovations
- Occasional off-night misses at the Italian
- Limited late-night options
Dining overview
Five on-site restaurants cover Mexican, Italian, Asian, seafood/ceviche, and an international buffet, plus a snack bar and lobby/pool bars. Reviewers consistently rate the food above typical all-inclusive standard, and bar service includes branded and some premium spirits.

Beach
MixedThis is Cozumel, so the shore is a rocky ironshore platform with a pier and ladders, not a sandy beach. What you trade in sand you gain in world-class reef snorkeling literally off the dock.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Reef snorkeling steps from the loungers
- Crystal-clear water visible from beach beds
- Private feel (only hotel at that stretch)
- Free cabanas on the beach
Heads up
- No natural sand beach
- Rocky entry via ladder or pier
The beach is narrow and more of a swim-and-snorkel platform than a sunbathing strip — protected reef offshore means calm, exceptionally clear water and excellent shore snorkeling, but expect rocky entry in spots rather than wide sugar sand. Complimentary palapas and beach loungers line the waterfront.

Pools
StrongThe main pool is the social heart of the resort, with a swim-up bar, daily animation, and enough loungers to skip the towel wars. Cleanliness has slipped in isolated reports, but most stays land solidly positive.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Swim-up bar with attentive service
- Daily activities and aquazumba
- Plenty of shaded and open loungers
- Free cabanas at poolside
Heads up
- Isolated complaints of debris in the water
- Closes relatively early for evening shows
A terraced outdoor pool overlooks the Caribbean, with a swim-up bar, shallow areas for kids, and free cabana-style daybeds. It's well-maintained and rarely crowded, with sea views from much of the deck.

What’s included
StrongPriced in the mid-tier of Cozumel all-inclusives, and that's where it lives: strong service and snorkeling for the money, but dated rooms and inconsistent food mean it won't feel like a four-star to everyone.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Mid-market price for a full AI in Cozumel
- Premium spirits included at bars
- Standout personalized service
- Snorkeling and dive-boat pickup on site
Heads up
- Rooms feel dated and in need of updates
- Food quality varies night to night
- Some areas mid-renovation
Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.
Amenities & activities
Couples
Good fitA quiet, oceanfront setting with reef snorkeling off the dock makes this a low-key pick for honeymoons and anniversaries. Expect warmth over glamour: private beach dinners and 50th-anniversary attentiveness stood out more than any wow-factor design.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Peaceful, unhurried atmosphere
- Private beach dinner setups
- Anniversary and honeymoon touches from staff
- Sunset ocean views from higher floors
Heads up
- Dated rooms lack luxury polish
- Not an adults-only environment
Families
Good fitA genuine family-first vibe with early evening shows, pool animation, and reef snorkeling the kids can do from beach beds. Kids club is more supervised playroom than structured program, so plan on parents staying involved.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- 7pm shows timed for young kids
- Energetic pool animation team (Irma, Yaz, Belén)
- Snorkeling straight off the dock
- Master suites with two bathrooms for families
Heads up
- Kids club is small and unstructured
- No real sand beach for toddler play
Peace & Quiet
StandoutOne of the calmer all-inclusives on Cozumel: upbeat by day, mellow by night, with no party-resort energy. The isolated southwest-coast location seals the peace.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Small resort, never crowded
- Upbeat but not rowdy energy
- Secluded stretch of coast
- Easy pool and beach lounger access
Heads up
- Nightly shows in the lobby carry through
- Ongoing renovation noise reported in some months
Spa with massage and salon services, fitness center with yoga and aerobics classes, game room, evening shows, and a small supervised kids' playroom (more babysitting than structured program). Self-serve laundry, gift shop, and on-site dive/tour desk round it out.
Water sports included
- snorkeling from the beach
- kayaks
- non-motorized water activities

“The rooms are very spacious and lovely, and the service is great too. The downside is that they cut off the water without warning. You're halfway through your shower and they just shut it off.”

“we enjoyed a week in this hotel and the kindness of the people was incredible. I don't put a global 5 star because the hotel is a little bit outdated and outside dining at night is only available when it does not rain (strangely they do not protect their outdoor sitting with a roof) and AC inside is much too cold for my taste. Still the hostess of the Mexican and Italian restaurants made sure that we actually had a table outside each time it was possible, opening the area just for us if need...”

Rosie answers from this resort’s guest reviews and our research — with quotes.
Know before you book
- rooms feel dated and need some refresh in places
- air conditioning struggles with humidity in some rooms
- kids' club is minimal compared to larger family resorts
- beach is rocky rather than soft sand
What you should know
What to Know
Expect a timeshare pitch at check-in, and know the property is actively renovating in stages, which has meant restaurant and buffet closures. It's a 10-minute drive from the ferry port, and the shoreline is reef, not sand.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- 10 minutes from the ferry port
- Dive boats pick up at the hotel pier
- Snorkel gear available to rent on site
Heads up
- Timeshare pitch at check-in, sometimes repeated
- Ongoing renovations may close restaurants or buffet
- Bars close around 11pm
- Rocky, ladder-entry shoreline (no sandy beach)
WATCH OUT: Seasonal heads-up
- Atlantic hurricane season runs June through November, with peak risk August–October
- Cozumel sees less sargassum than the mainland Riviera Maya but occasional drift-in can occur in late spring and summer
- Cruise-ship days can crowd nearby attractions and dive sites — check the port schedule
Cozumel airport is roughly a 15-minute taxi ride; there are no Uber pickups at the airport so use the regulated taxi stand. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and your own snorkel gear if you have it — the house reef is the highlight of staying here. Tipping isn't required but is genuinely appreciated by staff, who are repeatedly singled out by name in reviews. The kids' club is light on programming, so families with school-age kids should plan their own pool and beach time.
Good to know
- The house reef directly in front of the resort is one of the best shore-snorkel spots on Cozumel
- Beach entry is rocky in places — water shoes are useful
- Kids' club is a small supervised playroom, not a structured program
- Evening shows start around 7 p.m., timed well for families
- Resort is on the quieter southwest coast, about 15 minutes from downtown San Miguel
