What’s included
MixedWhen it works, the all-inclusive pays for itself in two days; when it doesn't, timeshare pressure, billing errors, and room-category mismatches undercut the luxury price tag.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- All-inclusive breaks even quickly on drinks
- Prime location saves on transport
- AmEx and Chase Edit perks when honored
Heads up
- Repeated or duplicate charges reported
- Refunds and deposits slow to process
- Some rooms feel below luxury standard
Package inclusions and upgrade access have not been collected yet. Confirm them for your room and dates when booking.
Amenities & activities
Couples
Good fitA lively downtown beachfront perch that works for anniversaries and girls' trips, though timeshare pressure and booking snafus can bruise the romance.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Rooftop 360 sunset views
- Walk-everywhere Medano Beach location
- Live lobby music (Lorena Blanco a fan favorite)
- DJs and good vibes on the beach
Heads up
- Timeshare pitches interrupt the mood
- Room-view mismatches reported
- Not a secluded romantic retreat
Families
Good fitMultigenerational groups thrive here thanks to flexible pool zones and a welcoming beach club, but there's no kids club and daytime programming skews adult.
medium confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Accommodates large family groups
- Quiet pools plus lively beach club option
- Beach staff accommodating with kids
- Central location for family excursions
Heads up
- No dedicated kids club or daytime kids activities
- Crowd skews older than young families
Peace & Quiet
StrongYou choose your volume: mellow upper pools and surprisingly quiet rooms, or a pumping beach club with DJs steps away.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Separate quiet pools away from the party
- Rooms sleep peacefully despite Medano location
- Beach club energy contained to the beach
Heads up
- Nearby construction noise noted
- Beach club and DJs are loud by design
On‑site spa (Sparitual Spa) with massage, facials, sauna and steam room; fitness center with yoga classes; micro‑brewery (Baja Brewing Co.); rooftop bar (Rooftop 360); beach club with private cabanas; concierge services. The resort is family and pet-friendly, with a family pool, but does not have a dedicated supervised kids' club.

“Absolutely atrocious level of service and the property was sub-par. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! to start - check in was a completely cluster, disorganized and they tried to get more money out of us despite having prepaid for all of the rooms in advance (I was there for a wedding). Once check-in was completed, we were told rooms weren’t ready until 4pm. lol okay whatever, so we went to the beach. Once in our room, the smell emanating from it was overwhelming. It was a pungent mild smell. We requested...”

Rosie answers from this resort’s guest reviews and our research — with quotes.
Know before you book
- Sleep quality rated lower — some noise from the busy beach area
- Value scores trail service and cleanliness, suggesting it feels pricey for what's included
- Wi-Fi appears to be paid rather than free
- Persistent vendors hawking trinkets
What you should know
What to Know
Corazon operates a membership/timeshare program, and the sales push is the single biggest complaint. Decline firmly at check-in and audit your final bill.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Excellent walkable location by marina and downtown
- AmEx early check-in benefit honored
- All-inclusive upgrade is worthwhile
- Reserved beach chairs available early
Heads up
- Aggressive timeshare/VIP club pitches disguised as 'breakfast and tour'
- Cash paid at outlets sometimes also charged to room
- View categories don't always match what's booked
- Weddings and group bookings have been double-booked
WATCH OUT: Seasonal heads-up
- Hurricane season runs June through November, with peak risk in September
- Whale-watching season is roughly mid-December through April
- Late December through March is peak season with higher prices and crowds
Transfers from SJD airport run roughly 40–50 minutes; pre-arrange a shuttle since taxis are pricey. Tipping in USD is standard and expected, especially at the Beach Club. Confirm whether your rate includes meals — Corazon is primarily an EP/room-only hotel, not an all-inclusive, despite being marketed alongside AI properties. Wi-Fi has been reported as paid or tiered, so ask at check-in.
Good to know
- Not a traditional all-inclusive — food and drinks are billed separately
- Directly on Medano Beach, one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo
- Rooftop infinity pool is the signature feature
- Walking distance to the marina, Puerto Paraiso mall, and downtown Cabo
- Beach Club staff (ask for Salvador, Javier, or Isaac) earn repeated mentions in reviews
