Beach
MixedThis is the Atlantic side of St Lucia, not the calm Caribbean coast, and sargassum is a near-daily issue that staff rake continuously. Swimming happens mainly at the protected Paradise Beach cove or in the pools.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Staff clear seaweed daily
- Paradise Beach cove is swimmable
- Beach bar service from Jamal and team
Heads up
- Persistent sargassum, especially May to August
- Atlantic surf, not calm Caribbean water
- Not the picture-perfect St Lucia beach
Detailed beach reporting coming soon.

- Lazy river and water park on Splash side
- Swim-up bar with strong drinks

Amenities & activities
Couples
IdealThe adults-only Harmony wing gives couples a genuinely peaceful base, and the staff lean hard into honeymoons, proposals and anniversaries with room decor and personal touches. A frequent wedding venue too.

“Just stayed at Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa - St. Lucia October 19 - 26, 2026. The property is well maintained and had just reopened the Saturday before we arrived. They closed for a month to do maintenance. They were still working on a few things, but nothing that stopped us from having the most amazing time! The staff is absolutely fantastic and they made our stay even more memorable! I didn't get everyone's name, but I'd like to give a special shout out to Flood, Shakina, Marquis,...”

“I can honestly say the food here is great and tastes authentic! The jerk chicken, jerk pork, and rice and peas are all great and cooked right. The hot sauce is good — full of flavour. I’ve been coming back every day because the food is that good!l, A shoutout to Harley and Sharnil, the two cooks, who are doing an amazing job. Their food really stands out and brings that authentic Jamaican taste.

Respect”

“Very slow service if you get service at all. rooms are not fully stocked on a consistent basis. vendors on the beaches are relentless. If you come to enjoy the ocean stay on the Caribbean side of island. The beach is not an option at the resort due to how rough it is and the weeds. the staff being very friendly is the only positive for the resort. For an all inclusive resort you would expect them to keep cups and glasses always stocked. They do not.”
★★☆☆☆
“This has been an amazing trip with the most beautiful people on their staff. Peggy took care of my room. She was sweet very helpful. She left an inspiring note every day. She was always friendly, kind and very sweet. coconut Bay has Dmost loving people that I’ve ever encountered. Everyone was concerned on how my vacation was going from The front desk, to the maintenance staff.”
★★★★★
“if you’re looking for a luxury resort, this is not the one if you’re just looking for a family kids friendly pool then this may be the one for you but even other resorts will have the pool services available the key thing this resort miss. is good quality, food and beach. This resort sits right by Atlantic Ocean and Atlantic Ocean has a lot of sea weeds and it smells so this is not really an ideal resort. If you’re looking for a vacation spot with your family kids, you know have access to...”
