Why travelers love it

Guests praise the walkable marina‑front location and energetic pool and rooftop nightlife. Service is consistently friendly and attentive, especially pool and room service staff.

Beach
StandoutYou're on Medano, the rare swimmable stretch in Cabo, with soft sand, calm-enough water, and chairs steps from your drink. This is the single biggest reason to book here.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Swimmable water, rare for Cabo
- Soft sand with plenty of loungers
- Attentive beach servers bringing drinks
- Sea lions visible from the shore
Heads up
- Currents not ideal for snorkeling
Sits directly on Medano Beach, widely considered the only reliably swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas. Calm protected water, plenty of loungers on the sand with drink service, and views toward the Arch and Land's End.
Pools
StrongTwo pools cover both moods: a lively DJ-fueled main pool and a smaller, quieter option, both with attentive waiters. Compact footprint and no swim-up bar keep this from being a headline feature.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Adults-only quiet pool option
- Energetic DJ scene at main pool
- Plenty of loungers without early claim
- Standout pool servers like Mariano and Williams
Heads up
- Pools on the smaller side
- No swim-up bar
- Afternoon music volume high
Multiple infinity pools including a quiet marina‑view pool and a more lively main pool with Foam Bar and daytime DJ parties. No swim‑up bar, though staff serve from pool edge.

Allure Suite Marina View
The entry-level suite and the most common category at the resort. Sleeps up to three with either a king or two double beds, and the layout puts the bed facing the wide balcony doors so you wake up to the marina. Expect noise from the nightlife and the resident sea lions below, so pack earplugs.

“Terrible experience at this hotel. Dismal service that bordered on hostile at times. Rooms are sparsely appointed. Beat up, stained and ripped furniture. Not comfortable for lounging in any way. Food is bland, restaurants open and close randomly. Cleanliness and safety concerns. I got FOOD POISONING. Ocote was the worst restaurant (despite being labeled as the best) and the manager, Julio, was disrespectful and demeaning. There were a handful of employees that were exceptional: a manager...”

What to Know
The two-building layout with multiple elevators takes a day to master, and expect a hard-sell Hyatt membership pitch early in your stay. Marina-view rooms are stunning but bring earplugs for the pre-dawn boat traffic.
high confidence
What you'll enjoy
- Walkable to marina bars and restaurants
- Turn-down service and stocked mini-fridge
- Sea lions audible and visible from balconies
- Restaurants rotate open nights
Heads up
- High-pressure membership pitch can eat hours
- Awkward layout between two towers
- Marina noise starts before dawn
- Not every restaurant open nightly
WATCH OUT: Seasonal heads-up
- Hurricane season runs June through November, with peak storm risk August–October
- Whale watching season (December–April) is a major draw and rates rise accordingly
- Holiday weeks and spring break bring the loudest, most party-heavy crowds
Transfers from SJD run roughly 35–50 minutes depending on traffic; book a shuttle or private transfer in advance. The Unlimited-Luxury concept includes gratuities, but tipping standout staff is still appreciated. Request an ocean-side or higher-floor room if you're noise-sensitive — marina-facing rooms hear the nightclubs and sea lions until late. The resort is walkable to the marina and downtown Cabo, which makes off-property dining and excursions easy.
Good to know
- Medano Beach here is calm and swimmable — a rarity in Cabo, where most resort beaches have dangerous currents
- The resort is smaller than most Cabo all-inclusives; the main pool is compact and there is no swim-up bar
- Despite the 'party hotel' branding, the typical crowd skews 40–60 rather than spring-break young
- Earplugs recommended for marina-side rooms — sea lions and nightlife are audible at night
- Walkable to the Cabo marina, restaurants, and downtown — unusual for a Cabo resort
